Front End Developer

Responsibilities

Take specs that have been finalized by the front-end lead and stakeholders and turn them into code that has been well written with extra attention paid to cleanliness, performance and scalability
Write unit and integration tests for existing as well as newly produced code
Help with the layout, design and UX of newly introduced components
Troubleshoot, test, and correct bugs on the platform
Make changes to our website that are suggested by the SEO/Marketing team.

Strong understanding of how modern web applications are written
Strong understanding of UI and UX best practices, cross-browser compatibility and general web standards
Strong understanding of HTML5, SCSS and JavaScript
Knowledge of software engineering/computer science principles
Knowledge of basic functional programming principles
Experience using Angular v2+ or React
