Sales Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Institutional Sales team on merchant technical scoping calls and meetings
  • Close deal and customer onboarding (API integration)
  • Act as a technical advisor and product expert
  • Closely work with sales, product and engineering team with product innovation and improvement
  • Build technical qualification documentation for key platforms and integrations
  • Support knowledge management building for scaling core FAQs and merchant technical questions
  • Architect product solutions for onboarding plans for merchant-specific needs
  • Track merchant feature requests pre-sales and triage value of requests

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role responsible for technical discussions in a sales engineering, implementation, or technical account management capacity
  • Ability to simplify complex technical problems high to low/low to high
  • Prior experience in payments, Fin-tech, fraud/risk, or eCommerce
  • Prior experience in B2B technology, ideally with API/Platform driven products
