Bitcoin charges to new session high

Well, it has taken all day in Europe today, but eventually Bitcoin has just surged to new session high. A few moments ago the price lifted smartly above 41k and that price acceleration came as it broke below an earlier minor downtrend line that had been forming since earlier this morning. The break higher duly reached to as high as 41,742, but it might not be finished with yet. The move higher today has now taken it back towards the Fibonacci resistance level that capped the last spike higher. That remains in place at 42,593. If BTC can break above this level again then that could open a path to test the 200 day moving average. That is currently in place at 44,778. BTC is just now trading at 41,725
