Bitcoin on the cusp

Bitcoin has come to within a whisker of reaching a new record high in Asian trading today. Yesterday afternoon the price action around 63k was very tricky expected. The increase in volatility and spurious price action suggested there was a heavyweight battle in play for sure. However, as the wider US markets drew to a close, BTC managed force its way higher and eventually climbed above 64k for the first time since May, when it had peaked at 64,888. Today that gain was extended slightly, as it rose to as high as 64,475 a short while ago. It has just backed off from that high right now, but of course it surely still has room for another attempt at setting a new record as the day unfolds. Bitcoin is just now trading at 63,910
