Bitcoin dips back below 40k again

Yesterday Bitcoin really ought to have performed better and the weaker US dollar and positive comments from a number of quarters should have delivered more upside for the lead cryptocurrency. However, and when looking at a five Day chart of the price action one can clearly see a series of lower highs kicking in after the price topped out at 40,907 on Wednesday. Granted the price action is still sideways and clearly pivotal in nature, but there is also a minor double top in place at around 40,670 from the subsequent interim highs seen after the price peaked. Today the price has fallen back from an earlier Asian session high at 40,414 and that delivered a move a little earlier, to as low as 39,525. Bitcoin is currently trading at 39,715
