Bitcoin edges higher in weekend trading

04 Oct, 2020

Last week Bitcoin did eventually make a break below the noted support level at 10,600 and that did produce a further move to the downside. However, the first technical target for that move was not reached. In the event the price only fell to as low as 10,387 during the Asian session on Friday. The subsequent rebound saw a brief lift to 10,600, but that was the extend of it on Friday afternoon. The price action over the weekend has been very contained too with 10,470 to 10,690 covering it on Saturday and Sunday. The price is now trying to make further progress as the Asian markets reopen this evening, but overall there is little direction to be gleamed this side of 11k. The outlook remains rather uncertain for next week too, with much seemingly depending on how the wider market risk dynamics play out as the week unfolds. Bitcoin is just now trading at 10,660
