Bitcoin finds buyers underneath 57,500 for now
Yesterday Bitcoin was unable to make any progress. The noted double top in place just below 59,500 capped any further upside for the lead cryptocurrency for the rest of the day. Eventually the price fell back below 58k again. It was noted here at the time; that the fall back could accelerate towards the support at just below 56,850 where a double bottom is still in place. Well, yesterday and so far today that level has not been threatened. The price has dipped below 57,500 three times since yesterday afternoon and subsequently rebounded on each occasion. However, unless it can reclaim levels above 59,500 the topside is by no means guaranteed. That brings to mind the obvious immediate lines of demarcation being set at around 56,850 to 59,500. Perhaps that will cover it for the time being. Bitcoin is also currently trading in between the 21 day moving average (now at 56,919) and the 10 day moving average (now at 58,324). It is just now trading at 57,695
