Bitcoin gives back weekend gains to above 60k

Bitcoin rebounded well on Friday, rising back above 58k after falling below 56k at the start of the session. That rebound was extended in weekend trading as the price spiked back above 59k and then later it briefly recovered above 60k on Sunday. The high set was at 60,055. However, that gain has been reversed into the start of the Asian session today. The move lower has seen it fall back to as low as 56,846 so far. The move higher on Sunday did stop short of recovering back above its 50 day moving average. That is in place right now at 60,331 and its presence may have helped the reversal earlier today from just above that 60k level.
