Bitcoin higher but still trailing in the wake of Ripple

Since the last update here yesterday afternoon on the weekend progress of Bitcoin, the price has made some headway. However, it is still playing second fiddle to the big mover of note that is Ripple. As the charge higher there continues it has helped to lift Bitcoin for sure, but in percentage terms, not by that much. In fact, technically, it is actually still lower than where it reached over the weekend. That is because it reached a high of 34,800 very early yesterday morning. However, it recovered from an earlier low today set at 32,214. It has lifted to as high as 34,699 a short while ago, but it is backing away from there just now as it tests 34k to the downside. Clearly, Bitcoin is still in play but not in the same vein as its smaller counterpart, that is stealing the limelight today. Bitcoin is currently trading at 34,030
