Bitcoin jumps in front

Bitcoin has certainly caught a bid this afternoon. The lead cryptocurrency has jumped to the front of the pack as it rises further today. It has now lifted above 57k and for a change most recently it is outgunning its number two, Ether which today is trailing in the wake of the Bitcoin rise. The move higher as extended to as high as 57,389 and it is not far off that right now given how quickly the price can shift whilst this update is being typed. The move higher is once again seeing the price close in on 58k. Beyond that there is a significant short term hurdle in the form of the interim double top that was formed on Monday at 58,975. Bitcoin is currently trading at 57,150
