Bitcoin rebound stalls ahead of 40k

Yesterday Bitcoin held an earlier drop back to test the 38k handle. It then tried to rebound back above 39k, but that first attempt failed and it slipped back. However, a second attempt later on in the session saw it rise to as high as 39,267 ahead of the wider US close. Since then is has backed off again in Asian trading today. It has in fact just now fallen to session lows as this update is being typed. Naturally, 40k remains a very big level for BTC to reclaim and right now that is clearly in doubt from the price action seen so far over the past couple of days. The range seen today has been set at 38,252 to 38,910. It is currently trading at 38,300
