Bitcoin rebounds from Christmas lows
One most amazing thing about Bitcoin is that it never sleeps, not even for Christmas. The lead cryptocurrency was trading over the weekend as usual and that saw it fall back to as low as 49,479 yesterday afternoon. Bitcoin had been holding above 51k coming into the Christmas weekend on Friday, hitting a high at 51,854 late on Christmas Eve. However, it has rebounded again so far today, rising above 51k earlier today. The range seen so far in Asian trading has been covered by 50,477 to 51,276. At the same time the 50 day moving average has now crossed below the 100 day moving average and is still falling quite steeply. It is in place today at 54,601 and now remains the next upside hurdle of note. On the downside the 21 day moving average is rising and currently in place at 48,979. That has of course capped the downside in recent trading too. Bitcoin is currently trading at 50,940
