Bitcoin slips after failing to reclaim 63k in weekend trading

Bitcoin got close to reclaiming levels above 63k on Friday afternoon. The lead cryptocurrency rose to as high as 62,963 after earlier drifting back close to 60k. It tried to rebound again yesterday after it had slipped on Saturday, to below 61k. However, that move petered out ahead of 62,500 and it has taken another hit earlier today during the start of the Asian session. The price fell to as low as 59,517. The move lower was sharp, but it has steadied since and is now trying to rebound again. The range seen so far today has been covered by 59,517 to 61,764. It is currently trading at 60,635
