It has certainly been a quite a wild ride for the cryptocurrency market over the past couple of days and that has not just been confined to Bitcoin. Many of the other leading coins have definitely stolen the limelight with some huge moves in recent days. However, Bitcoin has also seen some wild swings. The price peaked at 19,504 on Wednesday. Yesterday, it fell to as low as 16,226. Today it has held a range, covered so far by 16,967 to 17,465, but that is unlikely to the be the extent of it by the close this evening. The immediate chart set up does indicate a basing of the price action at around 17,000, but caution is clearly still required and a drop back below 16, 500 would negate that potential too.
