Bitcoin steady above 48k so far today

The noted rebound in Ether so far today has definitely been a key driver supporting BTC, despite the gain for Ether in relative terms against its leading counterpart. The gains above $3,600 have helped to push Bitcoin back above 48k. Perhaps were it not for that, then Bitcoin would not have lifted close to 48,500 earlier on. The price has been holding steadily above 48k for the past couple of hours too, but without yet making any further progress, so it is just treading water for the time being as it keeps a close eye on Ether and others that surround it right now. Of course 50k is the next level of note and it remains to be seen if there is enough momentum to deliver a test of that level as the day unfolds. Bitcoin is currently trading at 48,350
