Bitcoin steps back from weekend rebound
In a slight shift to its most recent trading pattern, Bitcoin once again made some weekend progress. The lead cryptocurrency rose late on Friday evening, moving rapidly back above 40k. That rise was extended further on Saturday and Sunday, where it rose to as high as 42,605. However, since then and overnight in Asian trading, the price has dipped back below 40k once again. The move lower today seems to have come following denials from the the Saudi Arabian oil giant, ARAMCO denying they have any plans to mine BTC. The price has dropped back to as low as 39,265 so far today. It is currently above that level right now, but the rebound is not yet at a price point to suggest it will rebound back above 42k again. It is just now trading at 39,775
