Bitcoin takes a hit on reports Binance to face investigation by US justice department

News reports circulating not long ago have seemingly had an impact on the crypto markets. Bitcoin and Ether both just took a hit lower. Bitcoin has just fallen close to its lowest levels of the European and US session on reports that Binance is to be the subject of an investigation by the US justice department. That cannot be exactly confirmed here but the news does appear to have had an immediate negative impact on the market. It was noted here earlier today; not to rule out another drop back in Bitcoin given the way it traded much earlier today following the comments from Elon Musk. The price is currently trading around 48,750, but as usual the price action is rapid and erratic and under such circumstances it could easily extend this current downside move
