Bitcoin takes out stops below 56,850

As suspected and intimated here earlier today, Bitcoin has now clearly tripped some stops below the noted 56,850 level as it trades below the previous double bottom that had guarded the downside since very early in the Asian session on Monday. The price has traded to as low as 56,645 so far. The price has now rebounded a little right now, but it remains unclear whether or not this move lower is purely a function of stops, or integral to deeper trending move to the downside. Time will tell on that front. Bitcoin is just now trading at 57,070

Bitcoin has now fallen back below 57, 500 having earlier failed in attempt to climb back above 58k. The move lower comes as Ether also slips to fresh session lows as it drops closer to the $2000 handle now this morning.
