Ether dips below $3000 as BTC tests 40k

Well, it is not exactly a surprise but Ethereum (ETHUSD) has now dipped below $3000 today. The price has in the process of making that move, also taken out a series of interim lows that were set in place over the weekend. The move lower comes as those US treasury yields rise once again and the move below $3000 could extend further if those gains increase. The move below $3000 in Ether has also taken Bitcoin lower with it too and now it is within striking distance of also trading below a key price level. That would be the $40k mark which is very much in sight now. Ether has traded to as low as $2,958 a few moments ago. It is now trading at 2,965 as BTC tests that $40k price level
