Ether extends gains above $2500

Earlier this morning, it was noted here; that Ether was on the rebound back above $2400. Well that rebound has now extended further as the second largest cryptocurrency moves back above $2500. That level has capped the topside at the back end of last week and all weekend too. Well, that is not the case any longer as the price just now lifts to session highs around 2540. The further move higher comes with accompanying gains for Bitcoin too. The move higher Ether is also gaining traction as more and more players seem to favour this coin over Bitcoin. The break back above 2500 may have tripped some stops and fresh system based buying too. ETHUSD is currently trading at $2541
