Ether falls after failing above $2,800
Yesterday Ethereum (ETHUSD) tried to grind its way above $2,800. It did eventually make it above the noted $2,805 earlier high. A very limited gain to around 2,812 did unfold when that level was taken out, but it truth that seemed little more than an exercise in stop loss removal. The subsequent drop back seemed to lead BTC lower too. Ether fell back to as low as 2,638 right on the 4pm London FX fix. At this point it is right to remind the reader once again; just how often the interim highs and lows of any session for both Ether and BTC can focus on that 4pm fix. It is not by accident that it keeps defining such moves and it is well advised for anyone trading these coins to remember that. So, after the European close, Ether slid lower again, reaching 2,615 right on the death of the US session. It has rebounded again earlier today, peaking at 2,725 earlier on. It has slipped again since and is currently trading at 2,654
