Ether lifts to session highs above $2835

As noted here late yesterday evening; the drop back below 35K in Bitcoin did not deliver a move below $2500 in Ethereum. The second largest coin once again held that previous, important breakout level that has capped the downside ever since. An earlier rebound did take it back above $2800 during the Asian session today and now it has reclaimed that level again and just now moved to fresh session highs above $2835. The move higher in Ether comes as Bitcoin makes some modest progress too, but at the same time the relative price between the two lead coins is delivering further outperformance for Ether. This dynamic was covered here late yesterday evening too and so far today the gap between the two in dollar terms is continuing to narrow ever so slightly further. Meantime, ETHUSD is currently trading at $2837
