Ether reclaims $3000

A little earlier this morning an update on the weekend progress for Bitcoin noted that other leading coins have made similar gains. That especially applies to Ethereum (ETHUSD). The second largest cryptocurrency has reclaimed the $3000 handle since last week. It too made a move on Friday afternoon as it headed towards that level. The rise above $3000 took place early on Saturday and it has not given back much ground since dipping back to as low as 2,955 yesterday afternoon. Ether has not long ago risen to a session high of 3,112 today. That high is not far off reaching a 38.2% retracement of the 4,866 to 2,160 fall. That price point is in place at 3,193. The range seen so far today has been covered by 2,985 to 3,112. ETHUSD is just now trading at 3,090
