Ether sets new afternoon session lows

Earlier today it was noted here; that Ethereum was still up against it and all the while it could not reclaim levels above $2500 it was likely to struggle. Furthermore, it was noted that the rebound from yesterday had still fallen well short of retesting the 100 day moving average that it broke below yesterday. Well, the price action since that earlier update has certainly endorsed those observations, because Ether has fallen back to as low as 2372 this afternoon. It is trying to stabilise right now, but it truth its still a struggle to gain any lasting traction. All the while that Bitcoin remains camped below 39k then that is likely to remain the case. However, the 100 day moving average is still rising and is in place right now at 2482.50. That might not matter much at the moment though, because the current chart configuration suggests there is a greater risk of a deeper fall to below 2260 right now, unless Ether can get back above the earlier highs seen this morning when it topped out just short of 2460. In fact, Ether has right now just fallen to a new low on the afternoon, at 2367.50
