Ether stretches further into uncharted territory this morning

The break above $3000 for Ethereum (ETHUSD) noted here earlier this morning is now extended as the price rises to set set records above 3,130. The move higher is dragging all that surrounds it higher too. The gains for Ether are now in totally uncharted territory and from a technical perspective, it is increasingly hard to gauge just where this might get to. However, the gains today are once again stretching the relative strength index (RSI). The 14 Day barometer of that measure is now approaching 80. It is not critical yet, but it might soon become so if the current rate of ascent is maintained. The price has just now backed off from a new all time record a few moments ago, at 3,141.  It is currently trading at 3,135.50
