Ethereum (ETHUSD) lifts closer to recent highs

Ethereum (ETHUSD) has made another move higher today. Earlier at the start of the Asian session the price lifted above $455 and though minor technical resistance around 460, to trade to as high as 466.75. That is just shy of the most recent high above 468. It has since backed away slightly but is currently still holding above the 460 break. The move higher today comes as Bitcoin make some further progress beyond 15,400. The overall upside target remains the previous 2020 rebound high that was set back at the end of August when the price rose to above 488. That level is still some way off, but given the way Ether can move at times, it is not an insurmountable level by any means. However, the current move will need to get above 468 to set up another attempt at setting a fresh 2020 high. ETHUSD is just now trading at 462.50
