Ethereum (ETHUSD) reclaims 1400 again

Yesterday Ethereum (ETHUSD) traded mostly sideways for much of the day as it, just like Bitcoin, seemed transfixed by the price action unfolding in XRP. So, to a large degree it was also side lined by all the action taken place in that coin. However, since the 4pm London FX fix the price has been on the rise again. It has lifted above 1340, which seemed to cap the topside for most of the day, and risen above 1400 today. The high set so far has been at 1411.67. That earlier peak was followed by a sell off of to around 1360, but support now at 1340 has seemed to have capped the downside so far today. The price has just now lifted to test that earlier high, touching 1411.50 a few moments ago. It has just backed off from there slightly and if it cannot get above 1411.60 on a sustained basis, then there is the possibility of a short term double top being set in place. That remains to be seen of course. ETHUSD is currently trading at 1404.25
