No rebound yet for Bitcoin today

The drop back from a new record high in Bitcoin yesterday, saw it fall from 68,513, to as low as 66,300 just after the 4pm London FX fix. It did rally back into the wider US close, rising to as high as 67,796, but it has fallen back again in Asian trading today. It has also just surpassed the low point seen yesterday, dropping to as low as 66,264 so far today. It is probably fair to say that the latest quarterly results from the leading crypto exchange, Coin Base did not do it any favours either as the data there was surely a disappointment on many levels. The slightly negative risk tone to the wider markets over the past 12 hours has probably weighed on it too. Bitcoin is currently trading at 66,415
