Ripple still holding range with downside focus

Yesterday it was noted here on the Quick News; that Ripple (XRPUSD) was holding a range defined by a double bottom at 0.4860 and resistance from a prior low point at 0.5275. Well, it was unable to breakout of that range yesterday. The earlier first attempt on the upside petered out ahead of 0.5275 when it stalled there over the weekend. The coin tried to rebound again yesterday but was unable to make it above 0.51. Since then it has fallen back again today. Earlier it traded to as low as 0.4890. It is a little higher now this morning, but not in anyway with much conviction yet. The clear risk remains for a break of 0.4860 to deliver a continuation of the current downside correction. Only above 0.5275 will tend to negate that potential. XRPUSD is currently trading at 0.4925
