XRP/USD takes on the chin in weekend trade

Last week at the height of the the Cryptocurrency sell off last week, Ripple (XRPUSD) fell to as low as 0.9395. Prior to that I had traded to as high as $1.70 just the day before. The failure of this coin to rebound since has led to some really heavy losses. The rebound back to just above $1.2 was completely derailed on Friday afternoon as the China/Bitcoin comments sent it scurrying back below $1. The price action this weekend has seen some significant further liquidation too. The fall this afternoon has seen the price drop to as low as 0.6518. That means it has lost more than 60% since the middle of last week and that has to have hurt many investors as they are forced to exit the trade. Granted there may be some value hunters around at the same time, but the inability to rebound yet has surely shaken even the most hardly of believers. XRPUSD is just now trading at $0.6790
