Bitcoin retakes 39k

Yesterday it was noted here; that Bitcoin was, and had been holding an approximate range covered by 35k to 38k.Well, later on yesterday the top end of that range was put to the test, but a convincing move above 38k proved to be elusive. However, that has not been the case so far today as the price has maintained a break above that level and not long ago risen above 39k too. The move higher comes as the wider crypto markets seem buoyed by some positive news on a number of fronts, but in truth there is nothing spectacular to report on here. The move higher in Bitcoin right now has not seen it slightly outperform its major competitor, Ether which is now making further progress too as it rises above $2,850 in recent trade.
