Bitcoin still sideways so far today

Yesterday Bitcoin did not break the range that has been defined here for quite a few sessions now. That is still sideways in nature and still inside a range covered by its 100 day moving average on the base and its 50 day moving average on the top. Those are in place as of this morning, at 54,517 and 60,798 respectively. The outlined range since this time yesterday has been covered by 55,855 to 57,406, so it is definitely compressing within that wider outlined range. Naturally, that means eventually we will get a breakout, but there is a good deal of uncertainty as to exactly which way that might be right now. It could be that the market will continue to trade this range until there is a more compelling reason to break out of it. Bitcoin is currently trading at 56,950
