Ether edges up from Asian session low

Yesterday Ethereum (ETHUSD) was rather struggling to get beyond $4,750. The second largest cryptocurrency had been outperforming BTC for most of the day, but as the cross price between the two edged back in favour of BTC at the same time as BTC itself fell back in dollar terms, that left Ether with nowhere else to go but lower. Consequently, the price fell back towards $4500 ahead of the wider US market close. The rise in risk aversion and equity market losses did not help either coin as well. Ether did fall back below 4500 earlier during the Asian session today, but it is trying to rebound now as European participants start to rejoin the action. The range seen so far has been covered by 4456 to 4622. It is currently trading at $4550
