Double top above 0.64 still capping Ripple

On Sunday evening it was noted here; that Ripple (XRPUSD) was going to struggle after it had set in place a double top just above 0.64 at the weekend. Well that did continue to undermine the leading alt coin yesterday as it fell back to as low as 0.5118 in the early part of the Asian session yesterday. It did rebound from there, to trade back above 0.58, but a series of price failures just above that level yesterday afternoon sent it lower again earlier today. The price dropped back to as low as 0.5350 at the start of the Asian session. It has rebounded once again but that rise stalled just short of 0.58 (0.5799 the high today). The subsequent drop back right now has seen it drop back towards 0.55. The immediate path continues to point lower today unless it can sustain a rebound back above 0.58. Even so it will still then have to contend with that 0.64 double top. XRPUSD is currently trading at 0.5555
