Ether drops back below $3k today

Since the last update here yesterday afternoon, on the progress of Ethereum (ETHUSD), the price has given back some of its weekend gains that saw it reach $3,190. It was noted here yesterday afternoon; that the double price failure ahead of $3200 had led to some further downside and now that downside move has extended back below $3000 in Asian trading today. Ether has just now fallen back to as low as 2901 but the price action is as fluid as ever, so a further drop from here cannot be dismissed in the short term. The overall, longer term trend is still positive, but as we know, the immediate price swings can be extensive and very unpredictable. ETHUSD has in fact dipped to new session lows as this update is being typed. It just traded to 2895
