Ether lifts to session highs above $2700

Yesterday as Ethereum (ETHUSD) tracked lower it fell back close to its earlier breakout level at $2500. At that immediate point it looked possible that a retest of that level might unfold. Well, in the event that did not happen and the support at 2500 held firm and fast. In fact, it also posted an interim triple bottom ahead of that level as it remained resolutely above 2525. Today it has managed to build further on that technical rebound and is now approaching the high point it reached earlier yesterday morning. That was around 2740 and the price is right now lifting to session highs above 2700 as this update is being typed. The move higher in Ether is dragging Bitcoin with it, but the relative price between the two continues to favour Ether. That is a clear continuation of the trend higher in Ether over Bitcoin so far today. ETHUSD is just now trading at 2712.50
