Ether powers to new record as BTC reclaims 66k

The second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum (ETHUSD) has risen today to set a new record high above $4700. The move has come following a further rebound in the price of BTC which has today reclaimed levels above 66k and close to its all time high at 66,976, but more on that one in a minute. Meantime, Ether has just now risen to as high as $4,768. The move higher has come from an earlier session low at 4,591 after what had been a positive weekend session for Ether, but not until it had dipped on Saturday, to as low as 4330.
