Bitcoin closing in on new record

The charge higher today in Ether has helped to lift Bitcoin back above 66k today. That gain was noted here earlier today. The charge back above 66k has also taken BTC to within striking distance to setting a new all time high. The rebound started yesterday, but not until the lead coin had come close to dropping back below 60k on Saturday. The low print then was at around 60,100. The move than 10% recovery since has now taken it close to the current record high which is in place at $66,975. The odds of that not holding the topside today sure do look elevated right now. As to what happens, if and when that is reached is not exactly clear, but BTC has the ball that the moment and it is running with it for now. Bitcoin is currently trading at 66,260
