Ethereum (ETHUSD) falls back hard from weekend record

As usual it is a volatile session already underway for Ethereum. The second largest cryptocurrency set a new record high over the weekend when it rose to 1874.05 on Saturday. However, it was not able to sustain that move yesterday and the further unwind today has been quite dramatic, as the price fell sharply back to as session low a short while ago. The price slumped to as low as 1662.38. That is to say; more than $200 below where it reached on Saturday. Now of course these kind of moves are almost a daily occurrence for Ether at the moment, so perhaps one should not try to read too much into that. Besides, it has just rebounded almost as sharply again too, just now lifting back above 1750. It is likely to deliver another day of rapid moves and that could see an even more extensive range than usual today, assuming that has not already been covered by the price action seen so far. ETHUSD is just now trading at 1750.25
