Ethereum at lower levels so far today

Yesterday Ethereum set a new record when it reached 3,528. That was noted here at the time. The price was already falling back when the last update on its progress was sent out here. That pullback later led the price down to as low as 3172, which constituted a more than 10% correction from the earlier high. It then rebounded back above 3400, but since then the price has slipped back so far today, falling to as low as 3211. It is above that low right now, but the price action since the corrective move lower yesterday has been characterised by a series of lower highs. Having said that, it has also been characterised by a series of higher lows at the same time. Hence, it all looks rather pivotal at the moment inside what is an immediate short term wedge pattern. So it does remain to be seen which way this one will blow from here in the short term. Ether has held a range today so far covered by 3211 to 3411. It is currently trading at 3275
