Ethereum slumps below $1500 in Weekend trading

On Friday after Ethereum made a clearly defined technical break when it shot above $1700 for the first time ever. That move extended to as high as 1761.88, and it looked lkely then; that a test of the 1800 level was on the cards. That prospect was outlined here later on Friday afternoon and had been identified here previously too. Well, in the event it did not make it that far and tailed off, back below 1700 into the wider weekly market close.  The failure to make any substantive further progress this weekend may have caused the deeper sell off earlier today. That is hard to say, but the more than $250 fall from the Friday high, whilst concerning is not that unusual for this coin at the moment. The price fell back to as low as 1493.14 earlier this afternoon. It is rebounding back above 1575 this evening. Stand by for another action packed week next week
