Musk comments sink lesser coins too

Well, it was not just Bitcoin that suffered the fallout of the latest tweet from Elon Musk. Many other leading coins have suffered a setback too. The news certainly took the steam out of Ether and it has done XRP no favours either. The leading alt coin was making some progress back towards $1.10 but since the news it has tumbled back down again, falling from around $1.08 to as low as $0.9175. It is trying to rebound right now, but remains camped below $1 for the time being. Perhaps in relative terms Ripple might eventually, and over time, outperform its leading peer, but right now that is not the case at all. The near 20% drop over the past 24 Hours is a painful reminder of how quickly this one can evaporate. XRPUSD is currently trading at $0.9495
