A new record for Ether today

The rise to new records for Bitcoin, above 68k has unsurprisingly not left its number two behind. Ethereum (ETHUSD) has also reached new records today, rising above $4800. The second largest cryptocurrency by market cap was above $4,750 by the time of the wider US market close so it was already breaking new ground last night. That move has been extended today, to as high as $4,840. The price has recently just backed off from that new record but of course it remains elevated still, as it continues to match it leading counterpart, stride for stride.
