Bitcoin reaches a new record above 68k

Bitcoin has eventually taken out its previous record high that was in place at 66,975. The move above that level in early Asian trading today has extended to the upside as was always a possibility. The lead cryptocurrency has just now risen above 68k. The move higher comes Ether also sets a new record high too. Bitcoin has surely gotten a boost from a weaker dollar today, although joining the dots between those two instruments is a little spurious to be honest. Nevertheless, the dollar is lower and BTC is higher. It has set a new all time record a short while ago at 68,513 and it is currently just backing away from that, trading now at 67,920
