No traction for Bitcoin yet today

Since the last update here on the progress of Bitcoin it has not actually made any. The lead cryptocurrency drifted back towards 43k yesterday evening and later dropped below that level into the Asian reopening today. The move lower has extended further, breaking below 42k ahead of the European markets reopening today. The price is being undermined by continued trepidation and perhaps a more salutary realisation of just what the recent Chinese measures could hold in store for it. Yesterday, it was noted here; that the market was concerned that a push higher might only run into supply side sellers waiting for better levels to offload. Well, perhaps that fear is one good reason why it did not make any progress yesterday. So, far today it looks like nothing much has yet changed in that regard.
