Ripple stays camped below $1 so far today

Ether has bounced higher in overnight trading and that has helped to propel Bitcoin back above 36k so far today. However, the rise in Ether has as yet not helped Ripple (XRPUSD) get back above $1. The leading alt coin did briefly dip below 0.90 in weekend trading (0.8965 the low), but it has bounced modestly from that low. However, and so far further gains, back above $1 have proved elusive. The high so far has been set at 0.9750. That high is below the current price point of the 100 day moving average, which right now is at 0.9863. If it can reclaim that level on a sustained basis, then there might be some more upside. However, it will also have to get above the 21 day moving average which is still heading steeply lower and is about the cross that 100 day moving average. The 21 day moving average is currently in place at 0.9903 and that price point dynamic does rather lend more weight to further downside still. XRPUSD is just now trading at 0.9605
